📚 Henry Kendall
Poet Henry Kendall lived with his family in the Camden Haven district during the later 1870s, working in Michael Fagan's timber business. The village where he lived was subsequently renamed Kendall in 1891, after his death. He also supported residents' request for a post office. In 1881 he left the district following his appointment as inspector of forests. His association combines literary life with timber-industry employment and practical civic concerns.
